Staff at Real Sportscards, THANK YOU! We cannot thank you enough for the hospitality you gave all the kids and their parents on your first trade night! AMAZING. So many kids just living their best life trading cards with each other. Buying chips to be able to get one of the cards in the glass case. Absolutely fantastic! We can’t wait for the next one!
Great card store. Competitive prices on sealed. A decent amount of consigned singles to browse, though I wish there were more. And they're mostly mid to high end. Live breaks happen almost daily on their online platform. Trade nights monthly bring the community together. The store manager, Nate, is a super friendly guy. Plenty of space to break in the store if you're looking to hang. Can't say enough good things about this place.
Trading card breaks are a fun and reasonably affordable method to collect or chase cards that can you can keep or resale for hundreds or thousands of dollars. This is especially true when products are newly released. In a lot of instances, you have a narrow window of opportunity to sell product you may have gotten from a break for optimal value in resale marketplaces, such as eBay. After a few weeks, the resale market becomes saturated, except for the low number or more rare items within the product, which obviously will dilute value (supply vs. demand). The importance of receiving products from breaks extremely quickly is paramount to maximizing value. However, when you break at such a large scale, it can be challenging to sort and ship products super fast. That is something that I have noticed with all breakers at this scale, with Real Breaks not being an exception. They will always have new and exciting products, in large quantities. There is no shortage of varying break formats for these products, which can make participating more cost-effective to the consumer. I know they strive to have products shipped within 3 days of a break. I believe this is three business days though, so if you break mid-week, it could be Tue/Wed of the following week before the mail carrier takes possession of your package. I don't break with them enough to gauge metrics on that, but the past few times I have participated, it took my product 1.5 - 2 weeks to arrive at my door from the night the break happened. Unfortunately, 2 weeks after a product's release means aftermarket resale for cards you received is likely saturated. I'm still giving them five stars for being the greatest group of breakers in the industry and fostering a family-friendly environment within their streams.
Prices don't dictate service. This is the most overrated shop I've ever been to, I guess if you're local you dont have options or knowledge but I would definitely avoid. Owner Ryan wants to be Rich Layton so bad it's gross. They don't care about your patronage and don't hold local events.
As a hobby enthusiast an amazing place to shop with a variety unmatched by others. Modern and clean layout. As an employee of the company great place to work, great people and always fun to work in the hobby I love.
Very welcoming store! Great service and very friendly service at that! Pulled some obsidian and got all of the “banger cards” top loaded and sleeved on the house, highly recommend!!!
Real Sportscards is amongst the best sports cards and Pokémon card shops in Minnesota. It is also our favorite due to the great customer service that Nate provides every time we come in. Do yourself a favor and make the trip to Champlin to check them out!
Great atmosphere and the friendliest staff. Perfect for kids and adults that enjoy the hobby. My kids love sitting around and opening packs in the store. Recommend this place 10/10 times.
